We held a farewell gathering for Mai (third-year medical student at Yamaguchi University), who spent approximately six months conducting research in our laboratory starting in June 2025. She energetically engaged in research activities, working on a wide range of projects from wet research like PCR to dry research such as phylogenetic analysis. She also presented her work at the 31st Togavirus, Flavivirus, and Pestivirus Research Conference held at the end of October. The entire lab wishes her every success in her endeavors at Yamaguchi!
