On November 5, 2025, the Virology Team from the Institute of Tropical Medicine participated in the Miyazaki Cup (Faculty of Medicine Basketball Tournament) held at Nagasaki University's Sakamoto Campus! Although we unfortunately lost in the preliminary round this time, it was a great opportunity to strengthen bonds within the lab, not just among the players but also with everyone who came to cheer us on! Led by Captain Yamazato (3rd year, Faculty of Medicine), we received valuable support from Yamao (6th year, Faculty of Dentistry) and Tomoyori (M1, Faculty of Engineering)! We'll do our best again next year ( ´∀｀ )
A word from Captain Yamazato: “Although the result was disappointing this time, it was a very good game thanks to not only the players, but also the professors and staff who supported us from practice onwards.
